Get social with Trifonic

Now don’t get me wrong: trifonic.com is where we want you. There’s no better way to keep up with the latest Trifonic news and announcements than to subscribe to our blog’s RSS feed or by email. (Hint hint.)

But there are plenty of other places where we’d love to see you.

For example, you could become a fan on Facebook.

Or you could be our friend on Last.Fm.

Or link with us on imeem.

And of course there’s always MySpace — you may have heard of it.

So come say hi on your favorite site. It’s always nice for us to know who’s out there and listening!

“Emergence,” now available at a store near you!

We’re happy to report that Emergence is officially out and waiting for you in the following places:

trifonic.com store
Physical CDs, pay-what-you-want download (mp3 or FLAC), and even a FREE mp3 download in case you’re still trying to decide how much you like us.

CD and download purchases from the Trifonic store include our BONUS producers commentary, a 30-minute audio file where we discuss the making of Emergence and our creative process track by track.

iTunes
Get individual tracks or the entire album. Emergence is available in iTunes Plus format, meaning NO DRM and still just $0.99 a song!

Oh, and feel free to write us a nice review while you’re there.

Amazon
Get the physical CD here. (Note: At the moment it’s listed as “out of stock,” but more CDs are en route to Amazon as I type. So you can still place an order and I assure you it will ship soon!)

Rhapsody

eMusic

Emergence should be available in even more places soon… we’ll keep you posted.

Emergence liner notes

In case you haven’t noticed, we added a liner notes page to the site where you can see all the credits and info for Emergence. Make sure to check out the track details section for specifics on each song and the gear list to see what we used to make the album.

If you want to know more about the making of Emergence and our studio set-up, you might want to check out our producers commentary, which is included with all CD and download purchases from the Trifonic store!

Our music on Echoes radio tomorrow (2/26)

It looks like Echoes is planning to play our track “Transgenic” on tomorrow’s show (Tuesday, Feb. 26), which is very exciting news!

If you’re not familiar with Echoes, it’s a fantastic nationally-syndicated public radio show that plays an eclectic mix of music every day. We highly encourage you to check it out sometime. You can see a list of where Echoes is broadcast terrestrially here. You can also subscribe to listen to the entire Echoes archives online.

If you just want to catch the 2/26 show, you can listen live online at www.xpn.org starting at 11pm ET (8pm PT). It looks like they’re going to play our song in the first half hour, so make sure to tune in on time!

Finally, some new tunes

First off, welcome to the new and improved trifonic.com! Things are still a bit sparse here, but we’ll be adding a lot more content in the next couple months… so I strongly suggest you subscribe to our blog via RSS or email to stay up on all the latest Trifonic news and events. (If you don’t know what RSS is, first get back in your time machine and set it to 2008. I mean honestly… And then check out Google Reader or some other RSS aggregator. It will change your life, I promise.)

But I digress.

Those of you who know us know that we’ve spent the past year working on our debut album. And now it’s finally done! The album is titled Emergence, and it’s going to have 11 tracks on it. It will be available in late February right here on this site, as well as all the usual suspects (iTunes, Amazon, etc.). We’ll keep you posted.

For now, you can check out a few of the tracks that will be on Emergence here. Hope you enjoy!

Please bear with us…

As you can see, we’re building a new and improved trifonic.com. Exciting! It’ll take us a little while to flesh things out here… but it’ll be worth the wait, I promise.
